Overview

This unforgettable 8 Days Tanzania Safari will take you to the Lake Manyara National Park, one of Tanzania’s most authentic park, it consists of a shallow but huge soda lake, located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment.

This safari will also take you to the Serengeti Np, a huge wilderness of 14500 square km, Serengeti is home to the most amazing Africa’s wild animals. Every day Serengeti brings a new landscape and a new adventure.

It will also take you to the Ngorongoro Crater which is one of the parks with the highest concentrations of game and arguably the densest population of predators and carnivores in Africa. Here you will witness an amazing spectacle of Tanzania wildlife – inside a self-contained world teeming with animals.

Finally, your safari will also take you to the Tarangire National Park, which once again features some of the greatest concentration of game in Tanzania. Also, you will visit Lake Natron and Lake Eyasi, the shallow alkaline lakes which are home to the thousands of different birds and animals.

Itinerary

The tour will depart soon after breakfast. Will stop in Arusha Town for any last-minute purchases before we head off on safari. Afterward, we head towards the Tarangire National Park for a game drive with a picnic lunch at the park.
Tarangire is well known for its huge elephant population and old baobab trees. It forms the center of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest, and 30,000 zebras.

After breakfast, our driver will pick you up and take you to Lake Manyara national park for a game drive. This national park is one of Tanzania’s most stunning parks for wildlife viewing, The park has a massive but shallow soda lake which is home to some of the amazing mammals and birds. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants, Lake Manyara’s unique tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake. After your breakfast, you will start your trip to Lake Natron. The route takes you through the cultural home of the Maasai. On the way, you will pass Engaruka, an archaeological site of a Stone-age settlement, as well as majestic Ondonyo Lengai, the only active volcano in the Great Rift Valley.
Lake Natron will fascinate you with its colors varying from pink, lime green, and red, this due to the concentration of minerals. Lake Natron is a breeding site to 75% of the world's lesser flamingos.
At midnight, wake up for the hike towards the ol donyo lengai mountain hike for a total of 6 hours
Dinner and overnight at Lake Natron Tented Camp.

Full day dedicated to the exploration of the Lake. Observe flamingoes and other birds, walking by the lake with a guide, Wild animal viewing, cultural activities, exploring the waterfalls, hike to the hominid footprint, etc.
There is plenty to do. In the evening enjoy the sundowner overlooking Lake Natron, the majestic Lengai and Gelai mountains, and watch the sun goes down behind the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley.
Dinner and overnight at Lake Natron Tented Camp.

After a Break, explore the Lake Natron for some time before continuing your journey further north to Serengeti Np. Enjoy the last view onto Lake Natron before leaving the Rift Valley behind and continue via the village of Wasso to Northern Serengeti.
Enter Serengeti by midday at Kleins Gate and enjoy a first game drive in Lobo. Between October and December, large herds of wildebeests can be found as they cross back to the southern plains. Lobo supports a vast diversity of resident game, including leopards, lions, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes and zebras, thanks to permanent springs and a landscape marked by open grass plains scattered with kopjes. Proceed to your overnight accommodation.

After breakfast, you will venture into Serengeti's wilderness corners for a full day game drive. You can decide with your driver to go for a full day game drives (with packed lunch)Or come back for lunch and afternoon another half-game drive.

Explore this world heritage site, where earth’s largest concentration of plain game still roams free! In the evening you will go to your accommodation for your dinner and overnight.

Enjoy another game drive in Serengeti National Park before departure for Ngorongoro Conservation Area via Olduvai Gorge, the cradle of mankind.
Proceed to your accommodation on top of the crater rim and enjoy a splendid view into the caldera before the night breaks with a sky full of stars.

After breakfast, you will descend to the world's largest unbroken caldera, the Ngorongoro. The crater is full of life. You will do a game drive inside the Ngorongoro crater till later afternoon where you will have your lunch in engoitoktok picnic site inside the crater.
After that, you will ascend the crater and read to departure to Eyasi. Lake Eyasi is just about an hour's drive south-west of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Lake Eyasi is a mildly alkaline lake about 55km long. To the north-east, you can see the Ngorongoro Highlands and to the north are the plains of the Serengeti.
Along the shores of the lake are Acacia forests which are home to a high diversity of wildlife including leopard and lion. There is several good quality, private campsites are located in the forest clearings by the lake.
The lake is a seasonal stop for migrating flamingos, also, it is the home to Datoga, hadzabe, and other indigenous bushmen.

Dinner and Overnight at a lodge or Tented Campsite.

After early morning breakfast, you will depart for your cultural tour with the Hadza community. This is your day with a typical cultural tribe and engages in real hunting together.
It is a tribe of hunters and collectors, which formerly inhabited the Serengeti, but was forced away by stronger and more aggressive tribes.
The Hadza live in traditional ways, hunting game such as dik-diks and collecting honey. After hunting and engagement with the tribe, you will then depart for Arusha with a stop for your lunch on the way.
Later you will be dropped to your accommodation or proceed to Kilimanjaro airport for the flight home.
